On May 17, the exhibition "Collection of signatures and handwritings of President Ho Chi Minh from 1945 to 1969" opened at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace.

The event was organized by the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace in coordination with Archives Center III (under the State Records and Archives Department) to celebrate the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023); 80 years of the Outline of Vietnamese Culture (1943 - 2023); 65 years since Uncle Ho lived and worked at the Stilt House in the Presidential Palace (May 17, 1958 - May 17, 2023).

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

Opening the exhibition, Mr. Do Hoang Linh, Deputy Director in charge of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, said: The exhibition displays and introduces to the public more than 200 typical original orders and decrees, selected from more than 1,400 archival documents with handwriting and nearly 80 documentary photos illustrating the historical period from 1945 to 1969, which is also the 24 years that President Ho Chi Minh was the head of the State of Vietnam.

The exhibition is divided into two parts. The first part contains images, documents and texts of President Ho Chi Minh founding the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, building a people's government system, persistently pursuing diplomatic solutions to protect the achievements of the revolution and leading the long-term resistance war against colonialism to victory (1945-1954). Part 2 introduces images and documents of President Ho Chi Minh leading the reform, building socialism and defending the North, while carrying out the national liberation revolution in the South, expanding diplomatic relations, seeking support and assistance from peaceful, democratic and progressive forces in the world (1954-1969)...

Through the original archived text of President Ho Chi Minh's handwriting and signature at the exhibition, the public can learn, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's style. The exhibition contributes to promoting and spreading the value of Ho Chi Minh's heritage to implement Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to promote "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" throughout the Party, the entire people and the entire army; implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress to build a clean and strong Party in terms of politics, ideology, organization and morality.

A large public visited the exhibition.

Mr. Dang Thanh Tung, Director of the Department of State Records and Archives, said: The unit has selected decrees, orders and documents with President Ho Chi Minh's handwriting from 1945 - 1969 to introduce to the public and visitors. Many decrees with President Ho Chi Minh's handwriting or signature are evidence affirming his talented and wise leadership role in the early years of building the young state government, in the years of resistance to protect national independence, demonstrating his ideology of great national unity such as: President Ho Chi Minh's call for national resistance on December 19, 1946, President Ho Chi Minh's handwriting calling on all people to compete in patriotism in 1948... These documents are being preserved and stored at the National Archives Center III.

“As the unit managing the valuable documents and materials of the country and President Ho Chi Minh, we are very proud to display the most valuable documents - National Treasures and typical documents in a solemn exhibition space, which is the workplace of President Ho Chi Minh, and also the place where many Decrees and Orders were issued, leaving his mark”, Mr. Dang Thanh Tung shared.
