The 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Ai district, term 2024-2029

On May 17, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ai district held the 11th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. Attending the event were comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Ai district has innovated, created, made breakthroughs, overcome difficulties and challenges, mobilized people of all walks of life to effectively participate in patriotic emulation campaigns and movements; successfully completed the assigned tasks. The activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations always focus on the grassroots and residential areas, regularly grasping the aspirations of union members, association members and people of all walks of life to promptly reflect them to the relevant sectors and levels for resolution, contributing to stabilizing the security and order situation, consolidating and expanding the great national unity bloc.

In addition to the achieved results, the congress also seriously reviewed and frankly pointed out the shortcomings in the organization and operation methods of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district for the 2019-2024 term; at the same time, it set out goals, tasks, solutions and 6 action programs for the 2024-2029 term, striving to have no more "temporary houses, dilapidated houses" in the district by the end of 2025; each commune has 1 to 2 sustainable poverty reduction livelihood models and 1 self-governing model for the people; 100% of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at the commune level and the Village Front Working Committees have completed their tasks well, of which 20% have completed their tasks excellently...

Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, presented a symbolic board of the Steering Committee of the project to support housing for poor and near-poor households in the period of 2023-2025 to support the construction of 21 Great Solidarity houses for Bac Ai district.

Speaking at the congress, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee commended the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, its member organizations and the people of Bac Ai district in the past term; at the same time, he proposed that in the next term, the district Vietnam Fatherland Front continue to focus on innovating the way of thinking, working, propagating and mobilizing the people in the direction of the whole people, comprehensively, with focus and key points, in line with reality, improving the quality and effectiveness of patriotic emulation campaigns and movements. In which, two new contents were well implemented: the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister and the 6th Action Program "Building self-governing, united, prosperous and happy residential areas"; improving the substance of social supervision and criticism; contributing ideas to build a clean and strong Party and State; actively participating in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; Determined to build a team of Front cadres with sufficient qualities, capacity, creativity, enthusiasm, responsibility, good at mass mobilization, courage, and aspiration to contribute to meet the requirements of assigned tasks, contributing to building the heroic homeland of Bac Ai to develop quickly and sustainably.

The congress elected 52 delegates to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ai district, term XI, 2024-2029. Mr. Pi Nang Binh was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ai district.
