Artifacts that go through the years
The provincial museum currently preserves many artifacts that “tell” heroic stories in the construction and defense of the Fatherland by the army and people of Binh Dinh. 1. Carrying out the mission assigned by the Military Region V Committee, the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee launched the 1975 Spring-Summer Campaign with the motto: "Bold, steady, victorious, complete annihilation, fast speed, high efficiency...". Also during this time, the Provincial Party Committee directed the Propaganda Department of Binh Dinh Province to mobilize all forces to urgently print and distribute leaflets, appeal letters, slogans, propaganda and agitation posters of all kinds. The Provincial Propaganda Department directed the frontline printing department to prepare propaganda content for the day of the liberation of the whole province. The lithographic stone plate "Binh Dinh Victory Map" was created during this time. At that time, to have lithographic equipment, it was necessary to ask a secret facility to go all the way to Da Nang to choose a thin, veinless marble slab to make the stone plate.

According to the instructions, this diagram was drawn in stone, but it had to be kept top secret. Only after the liberation day could copies be printed and distributed to the bases, agencies and people of the whole province to propagate about the revolutionary forces and the liberation army. The content of the diagram was provided by the Provincial Military Command, the printing house was located at the Ba Mountain base area. Writing and drawing the lithographic print was very elaborate, the letters had to be written in reverse on paper, then written in reverse on the stone surface. The lithographic ink was cooked with clear otter oil and fine lamp smoke; this type had to be purchased from the enemy-occupied area. It took more than half a month to print a large number of leaflets, drawings, etc. to prepare for distribution and posting after the liberation day.
2. The resistance war against the US to save the country of our army and people was extremely heroic and resilient, but also extremely arduous and fierce; in the fire of war, sacrifice and patriotism were further promoted.
In January 1975, the battlefield situation changed increasingly in our favor. The Politburo directed the preparation of all forces to launch a general offensive, and when the opportunity arose, immediately liberate the South. The Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee directed the promotion of propaganda work on the ideological front, mobilizing the masses to fight. A series of leaflets were printed and distributed to encourage the fighting spirit of the army and people in the province. Leaflets with short and concise content were printed and distributed, such as: "The US is out of time, the revolution is fighting the sky, Thieu is about to collapse, the opportunity has come, let's rise up and overthrow Thieu", "The whole country joins the army, the whole people rise up. Fight to make the US army withdraw, end the war of aggression. Fight to make the puppet army and government collapse, overthrow the belligerent Vietnamese traitor Nguyen Van Thieu. Win independence, freedom, peace, food and clothing for all people", "Cheers to the victories of our nation to end the war of aggression of the US imperialists... Extremely excited and proud, let's unite millions of people as one to rise up and fight for true peace, true independence, true freedom and democracy, to win food, clothing, land, to gain the right to be the master of the people"... as appeals, strongly encouraging the spirit of the people, launching a high tide of mass struggle and uprising to simultaneously win the government and master of the people, liberating the entire province on the day of March 31, 1975.

3. After successive victories on the battlefield of Zone V, on March 3, 1975, the Binh Dinh Provincial Front Command issued an Order calling on the entire army and people in the province to march forward to fight the Americans with the spirit of determination to fight and win to liberate Binh Dinh province. The order stated: “All cadres and soldiers of the People's Liberation Armed Forces and the uprising forces in the province! The Paris Agreement has been signed for two years. Our people should have lived in peace, freedom, prosperity and harmony. But the belligerent Nguyen Van Thieu group, commanded by the US, provided with money and weapons, has brazenly sabotaged the Agreement, continued to intensify the war, tried to "pacify" and encroach, in order to erase all the revolutionary achievements that our army and people had spent so much blood and years to gain. The blood of our compatriots continues to be shed; villages are still being destroyed; hundreds of thousands of patriots are still being imprisoned; the husbands, children and brothers of the working people are still being pushed into senseless shooting and death by the US - Thieu; millions of working people in urban and rural areas, in strategic areas and hamlets are living in misery, suffocation and pain. Obviously, the crimes of the US - Thieu are piled up as high as mountains, the sky cannot tolerate them, the earth cannot forgive them”.

Faced with such an extremely urgent situation, the Binh Dinh Provincial Front Command realized that the enemy, although very stubborn and brutal, was in a state of defeat, weakness, and desperation. On the contrary, the revolutionary forces were developing more strongly than the enemy, and we had firmly grasped the path to certain victory of the revolution. The Binh Dinh Provincial Front Command ordered the People's Liberation Armed Forces; the cadres and soldiers in the uprising armed forces and the people - all to thoroughly obey orders, seize the opportunity, devote all their strength to bravely attack and attack continuously, intensively, and everywhere with three prongs, causing the enemy to be completely defeated in their homeland. The Binh Dinh Provincial Front Command called out: "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom. All must advance with the spirit of determination to fight and win, bravely charge forward to achieve the greatest victory".
