The Russian Volunteer Corps has issued a statement on Telegram following the raid in Russia's Belgorod region. The group, along with fighters from the Russian Free Corps, has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks inside Russia.

The video, which lasts just over a minute, shows about a dozen Russian soldiers being held captive, with two lying in hospital beds. The Russian Free Corps posted a similar video on its Telegram channel.
Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov had previously agreed to meet with the group if the soldiers were still alive.
In a new development, state news agency TASS quoted Governor Gladkov as saying that a power facility in the Belgorod Region caught fire early Monday morning (June 5).

“One of the electrical systems is on fire… No one was injured,” Gladkov said, noting that explosives dropped from the drone were the initial cause of the fire.
Earlier, Mr Gladkov said that Ukrainian forces continued shelling the Belgorod region overnight, forcing hundreds of children to evacuate from the border.
