Meeting of the Organizing Committee for activities celebrating the 125th anniversary of the founding of Bac Kan province

This year, "Bac Kan Culture - Tourism Week"   The event was organized with the theme "Cau River - Where the source converges" with the participation of 6 provinces and cities in the Cau River basin: Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong and Hanoi city.

Some notable sideline sports activities include: The 1st Bac Kan Open Pickleball Championship in 2025; Bac Kan Open Mountain Bike Race in 2025; Paragliding and Hot Air Ballooning experience activities...

In addition, there are also attractive cultural, artistic and tourism activities such as: Regional specialty fair of Song Cau basin; Seminar on promoting and investing in developing tourism products of Song Cau basin; organizing tours and experiencing tourism in Bac Kan...

Up to now, the establishment of the Organizing Committee and assignment of tasks to members have been basically completed.

At the meeting, delegates agreed on the plan to organize the activities, and at the same time suggested that it is necessary to prepare well for the activities such as choosing a location to organize the Cau River Basin Regional Specialty Fair and displaying suitable OCOP products, ensuring electricity, water, and environmental sanitation; preparing well for the reception of delegates, tourists, medical work, telecommunications infrastructure; promoting information and propaganda on mass media and social networking platforms so that a large number of people and tourists inside and outside the province know and participate in the events.

Concluding the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Quang Tuyen requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to quickly complete the script for the 125th Anniversary of Bac Kan Province's Establishment Day, and on that basis, assign specific tasks to members of the Organizing Committee. Requesting agencies and departments assigned to be in charge of activities to develop detailed plans and establish their own support teams to perform their tasks well. In addition, after the meeting, the support team needs to advise the province to invite the provinces in the Cau River basin to a meeting to unify the content for the "Bac Kan Culture - Tourism Week" in 2025.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested agencies and units to strengthen coordination to perform assigned tasks well, paying special attention to environmental sanitation, ensuring urban landscapes to serve activities, and building an art program for the opening ceremony that is truly meaningful, profound, and in line with the province's cultural characteristics./.
