On September 12, after the list of donations from organizations and individuals for the people of the Northern provinces affected by storm No. 3 Yagi was announced by the Vietnam Fatherland Front, many people were concerned about the donation account of 10,000 VND with the content "tap the ae rap xiec trung uong ung ho".

The Vietnam Circus Federation confirmed that it has a plan to mobilize each staff, actor, and worker to donate 1 day's salary to help people affected by Typhoon Yagi and plans to organize a performance calling on artists and audiences to join hands to support people in flooded areas.

The information that the Vietnam Circus Federation donated 10,000 VND is not true. The Vietnam Circus Federation has contacted the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the bank that received the transfer to verify and correct the information in the media.

In response to the above incident, the Hanoi City Police Department's leadership directed the Internal Political Security Department to urgently coordinate with relevant authorities to verify and clarify the incident.

Afterwards, the Internal Political Security Department (Hanoi City Police) verified and invited Mr. NMĐ. (born 2003), a student at a university in Hanoi, to work to clarify his behavior related to the above incident.

At the police station, Mr. NMĐ. reported that since 2022, he and some classmates had created a chat group on messenger called “Central Circus”. The purpose of creating this group was to serve the purpose of studying and had nothing to do with the Vietnam Circus Federation.

Also according to the report, when there was an announcement to support compatriots affected by storm No. 3, Mr. NMĐ. himself transferred 10,000 VND with the content "tap the ae rap xiec trung uong ung ho" but did not notify or discuss with the group members.

When he heard about the negative public reaction to this, Mr. NMĐ. proactively called the Vietnam Circus Federation to apologize.

The police have drawn up a warning letter for the NMĐ students and discussed with the school to strengthen student management in the coming time.
