On March 26, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism held a press conference to inform about the 2nd Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival.

Accordingly, the 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival will take place from April 4 to 7, 2024 at 23/9 Park, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, with the theme "20 years of vibrant journey" associated with the program message "Ho Chi Minh City welcomes you - Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City".

The Tourism Festival is an event marking a special milestone of 20 years of a vibrant journey to continue promoting the image, land, people, cultural identity, tourism activities and typical cuisine of Ho Chi Minh City, stimulating domestic tourism in the summer of 2024. At the same time, it creates conditions for localities and businesses to access and introduce tourism products and services to tourists, especially the people of the City; creating a series of rich and unique activities to emphasize that Ho Chi Minh City is always a "Safe - Attractive - Friendly" destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

This year's Tourism Festival has the participation of more than 100 booths, including 43 booths from provinces and cities and 35 tourism service businesses and other units.

In addition to the activities of the stimulus space, which is the exhibition and display space, people and visitors have the opportunity to enjoy programs such as: Acoustic; cosplay stilt performance; bag/cup base/fan drawing workshop or making scented bags; interactive activities on the festival map; exchange programs introducing culture, tourist destinations between provinces, cities, tourism businesses and especially the Program to introduce and promote a reality series about Ho Chi Minh City and exchange with Miss Thuy Tien...

Along with that, a series of seminars and conferences promoting issues of social concern such as human resource training, labor resources, business models according to new trends... also took place within the framework of the event: Seminar on transforming tourism business models to update world trends, Nghe An tourism promotion conference, Thai Nguyen province tourism promotion conference, Tourism job exchange in 2024...

In addition, this year's Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival will continue to organize a survey route to introduce the city's typical destinations and tourism products, Famtrip programs, creating conditions for Ho Chi Minh City travel businesses and travel businesses from provinces and cities to survey, connect and exploit tourism programs. Organize Famtrip groups to introduce Ho Chi Minh City's typical tourism products and a space to connect Ho Chi Minh City's destination services with travel businesses nationwide.

The 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival in 2024 has the participation of provinces, cities and tourism businesses operating in the fields of travel, accommodation, restaurants, transportation, shopping and entertainment - reputable and quality with hundreds of attractive tourism products of travel businesses, hotels, airlines, and tourist attractions across the country. Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival has continued to affirm its position and role as a leading "tourism supermarket" in the country, making an important contribution to stimulating the domestic tourism market with standard products and services.
