The National Assembly Standing Committee will review the National Assembly's report on people's petitions in May and June 2024; and give opinions on the policy of organizing a National Assembly Forum on supreme supervision activities.

The National Assembly Office said that as planned, the 35th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place for 1.5 days, on July 10, 2024 and the afternoon of July 11, 2024, at the Tan Trao meeting room, National Assembly House.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivered the opening speech and together with the Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly took turns chairing the content of the session.
At this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will review the National Assembly's report on people's petitions in May and June 2024; give opinions on the policy of organizing the National Assembly Forum on supreme supervision activities and the preparation work for the Forum.
Regarding decisions on important issues, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and approve the draft Resolution on the dissolution, establishment and merger of a number of military region criminal investigation agencies and equivalents, regional criminal investigation agencies in the Vietnam People's Army; the draft Resolution on perfecting the organizational structure and prosecutors of military procuracies at all levels; consider and decide on the addition of regular expenditure estimates to the 2024 state budget of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also considered and decided on the adjustment of the medium-term public investment plan using central budget capital for the 2021-2025 period of ministries, central agencies and localities; completed investment procedures for projects expected to allocate sources of increased revenue, cut and save central budget expenditure in 2021 remaining after implementing the policy of supporting housing rent for workers of the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program.
At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will summarize the 7th Session and give initial opinions on preparations for the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly./.
