On March 21, the Thu Duc City area team, Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with Truong Thanh Ward Police to complete the documents to hand over V.'s body to his family to take home for funeral arrangements.

Earlier that morning, people discovered a man's body floating on the river, near Vo Khe bridge, Truong Thanh ward, Thu Duc city. Fearing that the water would sweep the body away, people pulled the body to shore and reported it to the police.
The victim was wearing jeans and a white jacket. He had a cell phone and some documents with the name NHV on them. The victim's body was in the process of decomposition.

During the investigation, the Thu Duc City local team determined that the victim was a student who left his motorbike in a banana garden on Road 8 and went missing on March 19. His family has been contacting the police for several days to verify and search for him.
After V.'s body was brought ashore, V.'s family also came to the scene to confirm that the body was their child's.
It is known that V. is a first-year student at a university in Thu Duc City, living on Lo Lu Street, Truong Thanh Ward. After V. went missing, the investigation agency extracted camera footage to determine that V. left his rented room on a motorbike at 3:00 a.m. on March 19, then left the motorbike in a banana garden and went to an unknown location.
