12th grade male student hit traffic police at alcohol concentration measuring checkpoint

Tonight, January 17, according to Thanh Nien 's source, at around 7:39 p.m. the same day, a police officer from the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Province, while on duty at a checkpoint measuring alcohol concentration on a road in Ha Tinh, was hit by a 12th grade male student from Thanh Sen High School (Ha Tinh City) driving a motorbike at high speed, causing the officer to be injured and hospitalized for treatment.

Speaking with Thanh Nien reporters, a leader of Thanh Sen High School confirmed that the school was aware of the incident and was present at Ha Tinh General Hospital to monitor the health of the traffic police officer.

"The person who hit the traffic police officer is a 12th grade male student of our school. We are currently at the hospital. Through questioning, we learned that the traffic police officer suffered soft tissue injuries, with a wound on his head and leg. After the incident, the school will consider disciplinary action against this male student," said the leader of Thanh Sen High School.

According to Ha Tinh General Hospital, through initial examination, the traffic police officer only suffered soft tissue injuries and is currently undergoing X-rays for examination.
