Deputy General Director Do Thanh Hai: 2025 is a very important year for VTV, there are many factors for VTV to be determined to make a breakthrough and develop more, besides continuing the tradition of over 5 decades. This year, VTV will celebrate the 55th anniversary of broadcasting the first television program. In addition, 2025 has many important events of the country such as: the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day, the 80th anniversary of National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) ... VTV television workers celebrate these important milestones by improving the quality of programs and making a series of changes, rearranging time slots, channels, applying technology, modern television thinking, suitable for the viewing trends of new audiences besides the traditional audience generation.
VTV is a multimedia media agency, with the goal of One VTV, in addition to a system of nationwide broadcast channels, VTV has been promoting the dissemination of content on digital platforms and distributing content through the VTVgo application - the national digital television platform.
"Time! Tell a Story" is a new program, starting to air from February 2025.
- Innovation and improvement of content quality is an important part of implementing the "One VTV" strategy, affirming the brand and reputation of the National Television. In addition, in the general policy of the whole country to streamline and reorganize the apparatus, many television stations are no longer operating, so VTV also places higher demands on serving the audience. VTV is a national television station, playing a very important role: both providing information and orienting propaganda, spreading positive values to society, and at the same time meeting the entertainment needs of the public. Therefore, good programs must be better and of higher quality. Continue to change and adjust some time slots to suit the needs of the audience and promote the distribution of content that connects and interacts with viewers.
Since February this year, audiences have seen a drastic change in the weekend time slots on VTV3. In the near future, we will also adjust some programs on VTV1 to enhance the political aspect and update current issues of interest.

- There are programs that have to end at some point or under certain circumstances, but they may return when the production team has renewed the format and changed the way they do things to suit current entertainment trends.
The Return of See you this weekend This time can be considered a bridge between a program that has been loved by the audience and the need to enjoy comedy programs on television. Currently, programs with humorous content are few and See you this weekend It meets that requirement so it is suitable to return. In the near future, some inspirational programs that promote family love will also return. Hopefully the audience will continue to welcome and love it.

- Technology and the way audiences watch and access content have changed a lot, so VTV's team always has to research and analyze to best meet that enjoyment. In addition to changing the broadcast time frame (specifically the 8pm frame on VTV3 channel), we also improve the quality of content, the art of staging films, and at the same time have to think about new filmmaking methods. Specifically, short films with meaningful content, close stories, and more professional filmmaking methods are being implemented. Or maybe some film series for young audiences following the trend of making films on digital platforms of only 3-5 minutes. To do this, the creative team must constantly learn, apply digital technology, improve filmmaking methods, and topics that attract young audiences - those who always compare Vietnamese content with foreign products.
