In particular, the authorities have ensured absolute security and safety for political, cultural and social events in the area. The establishment of a working group to resolve complicated complaints and illegal religions at two levels (city and ward/commune) has contributed to effectively resolving long-standing complaints, limiting conflicts and frustrations among the people, and contributing to building a solid position of people's hearts.

The city police have deployed synchronous professional measures, focusing on prevention, while strengthening patrols, propaganda, combining questioning, deterrence, and strict management of subjects, launching high-point campaigns to attack and suppress crime and social order, so the crime situation and violations of social order laws in the city have decreased significantly.
Notably, Thanh Hoa City Police have successfully cracked down on many major cases in various fields, receiving praise and rewards from the President and the Minister of Public Security.
The city has successfully directed fire prevention and fighting drills, flood and storm prevention drills, search and rescue drills and combat drills for wards and communes in the defense area, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Thanh Hoa City People's Council Le Anh Xuan highly appreciated the results achieved in the work of national defense and security in 2024. To successfully carry out the tasks of national defense and security in 2025, he requested that Party committees, authorities, and armed forces from the city to the grassroots level must firmly grasp the Party's viewpoint on national defense and security, and absolutely must not be negligent or passive in implementation.
At the same time, we must grasp the situation, especially the ideological situation among cadres, party members and the people; grasp internal security, resolutely and strictly handle those who take advantage of democracy to incite, entice, complain, and cause internal disunity. Along with that, we must pay special attention to security in industrial zones and religious security in the area.
He requested functional forces from the city to wards and communes to specifically assess the security and order situation in all aspects to proactively advise and develop plans to ensure security and order in 2025 and in each event.
