A woman in Ho Chi Minh City won 30 Vietlott special prizes at the same time, with a total value of up to 30 billion VND. This is the Max 3D+ lottery prize with the largest value ever of Vietlott.
On December 18, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) Ho Chi Minh City Branch awarded 30 special prizes of the Max 3D lottery in the 853rd drawing to Ms. P. - a female customer from Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition to 30 special prizes worth 1 billion VND each, Ms. P. also won 30 4th prizes worth 1 million VND each, 60 5th prizes worth 150,000 VND each and 29 6th prizes worth 40,000 VND each. The total amount of money she won was 30,040,160,000 VND (more than 30 billion VND).
Ms. P. is the first person to win 30 special prizes of the Max 3D+ lottery. Previously, in 2020, a player in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. An, won 20 special prizes of the Max 3D+ lottery worth 20 billion VND.
Previously, in the 853rd draw of the Max 3D+ lottery product, Vietlott determined that there was 1 person who won 30 special prizes with the number set 704 065.
Through checking the lottery business data system and the attached personal records, Vietlott determined that the winning player was Ms. P. with a ticket issued at 86 Ta Quang Buu, Ward 3, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City.
Ms. P. currently lives and works in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City. She bought 30 tickets for the number series 704 065, which is also the maximum number of tickets that can be purchased for 1 set of numbers in 1 period of Vietlott's Max 3D+ lottery.
She has a habit of stopping by Vietlott stores when taking her children to school and buying a few lucky tickets every day.
Ms. P. shared, “I randomly chose all the numbers without any prior intention. In the evening, after the drawing time, the Vietlott point of sale called because they thought I had won the lottery, but I thought it was a joke. When I had time in the evening, I took out my ticket to check and found out that I had really won the prize.”
Ms. P. said she will use the prize money to invest in business and develop her life.
At the award ceremony, Ms. P. donated 150 million VND to Tam Tai Viet Fund and 150 million VND to implement social security programs in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to regulations, Ms. P. is obliged to pay personal income tax at the place of ticket issuance in Ho Chi Minh City, with a total value of more than 3 billion VND (10% of the value exceeding 10 million VND) and is deducted immediately upon receiving the prize.
