Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên03/12/2024

Faced with the trend of increasing international cooperation, vocational training institutions promote training programs with foreign organizations, businesses and units.

The 10-year socio-economic development strategy (2021 - 2030) in the document of the 13th National Party Congress clearly states: "Develop vocational education in an open and flexible direction...; pay attention to investment and promote international cooperation to develop a number of vocational education institutions, training sectors and occupations to reach a level equivalent to the region and the world".

According to Master Nguyen Khanh Cuong, Principal of Lilama 2 International Technology College, to meet the requirements of enterprises when increasingly promoting production according to international standards, it requires highly skilled human resources. Therefore, the unit has strengthened its links, cooperation, and joined prestigious professional associations in the world such as: UK Vocational Council, American Welding Association, European Vocational Training Association, etc.

"The school's goal in joining international associations and opening international training programs is to meet the requirements of businesses, improve training quality, and increasingly approach international standards so that students can participate in the domestic labor market and open up opportunities to work abroad," Master Cuong emphasized.

In recent times, Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics has been promoting international cooperation and exchange activities in the fields of teaching and research exchange. Master Tran Van Tu, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics, said: "Up to now, the school has cooperated with 20 universities, colleges, and research institutes in the region on student and lecturer exchange in training and research cooperation".

Meanwhile, since 2019, Far East College has coordinated 2+2 joint training with Knappschaft Group (Germany) in nursing. According to Master Phan Thi Le Thu, Vice Principal of Far East College, this program attracts a lot of students every year, with more than 500 students studying and working in Germany. "The school is expanding to include engineering technology and restaurant - hotel services, beauty care, sales... with many other partners," Master Thu added.

Talking about job opportunities for students studying international joint programs, Master Khanh Cuong informed that students not only participate in the domestic labor market but can also work abroad, especially in German programs. After training, students can apply for jobs themselves or German companies can come directly to interview, test skills and select.

Meanwhile, when Far East College cooperates with the German Knappschaft Group, students have the opportunity to work in Europe. The Vice Principal of Far East College shared that students can study for free in Germany and work with a salary. Each month, businesses will support from 1,000 to 1,500 euros. After graduation, the salary ranges from 2,500 to 3,500 euros.
