In order to grasp the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of voters and people, since the beginning of the 2021-2026 term, the People's Council delegations and the People's Council delegates have always attached importance to the work of meeting voters. The voter meeting program is arranged reasonably, rotating the locations so that voters and people have the opportunity to attend. The voter meeting is conducted before and after the two regular meetings every year, ensuring compliance with regulations, while at the same time having innovation and improving quality. The voter meetings always attract the attention and participation of voters and the sense of responsibility for explanation and acceptance of the functional agencies and local authorities; clearly demonstrating the connection between delegates and voters. The role, responsibility and skills of delegates in meeting are raised in the direction of focusing on specific issues, close to the content of the meeting and the socio-economic situation of the locality; Not only recording voters' opinions and recommendations, many delegates also directly informed, exchanged, and clearly answered recommendations that had been resolved by authorities, thereby contributing to limiting voters from making recommendations multiple times.

Voter Le Van Tung, in Thuy Son commune (Ngoc Lac) shared: Recently, in the meeting with voters before the 24th session of the 18th Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, the provincial People's Council delegates had a meeting in the locality. The opinions of voters raised at the conference were not only discussed by local leaders but also discussed specifically by the People's Council delegates. In particular, my opinions on the regime and policies for village cadres were clearly answered by the delegates, so I no longer have any concerns.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Tien Lam said: Since the beginning of the 2021-2026 term, voter contact activities between People's Council deputies at all levels and voters have been increasingly innovated, put into practice, implemented seriously and responsibly. The relationship between elected representatives and voters has been increasingly consolidated and connected. Voters and people have a higher awareness of participating in voter contact sessions, expressing their legitimate thoughts and aspirations to Party committees and authorities at all levels, and contributing constructive ideas to develop the socio-economy and ensure national defense and security in the locality. The majority of voters' opinions and recommendations have been fully received and explained by competent agencies and delegates, with specific solutions at voter contact conferences. For opinions and recommendations under the authority of higher-level State agencies, they are promptly and fully received, synthesized, and transferred to competent agencies for settlement according to regulations. Through voter contact activities, many delegates have persistently monitored and supervised unresolved issues, selected questions to be asked at the session, demonstrating the courage and enthusiasm in the activities of elected representatives, contributing to creating voters' trust in People's Council delegates.

In order to promote the role of a "bridge" between the People and the Party and the State, in the coming time, the People's Council delegations and the People's Council delegates will regularly maintain contact with voters to listen to feedback from the grassroots. At the same time, further expand meetings with voters; effectively coordinate with People's Committees, Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and relevant agencies, ensuring that voters' petitions are answered publicly and within the time limit prescribed by law, contributing to enhancing the role of local elected bodies. At the same time, improve the quality of the work of synthesizing voters' opinions and petitions; transfer, monitor, urge and supervise the settlement of voters' opinions and petitions...
