Thai jackfruit increased by 5,000 VND/kg
Today, August 6, the price of Thai jackfruit increased from 1,000-5,000 VND/kg. In Tien Giang province, the price of Thai jackfruit today is quoted by the warehouses: First Jackfruit 40,000 VND/kg, Second Jackfruit 38,000 VND/kg, Large Kem Jackfruit 38,000 VND/kg, Small Kem Jackfruit 26,000 VND/kg, Third Kem Jackfruit is 12,000 VND/kg.
In other localities such as Hau Giang, Soc Trang, An Giang, Vinh Long, Dong Thap and Can Tho city, most large warehouses quoted prices for buying First grade jackfruit at 39,000 VND/kg, Second grade jackfruit at 37,000 VND/kg, Large Cream jackfruit at 37,000 VND/kg, Small Cream jackfruit at 25,000 VND/kg, and Third grade Cream jackfruit at 11,000 VND/kg.

In addition, the jackfruit orchards are now producing a lot of fruit, helping to increase productivity and sell more. People in the growing area hope to maintain this price until the off-season jackfruit harvest.
According to many people with many years of experience growing Thai jackfruit, to get a higher selling price, gardeners often process the fruit out of season so that traders do not force down the price when the jackfruit crop comes into season.

Oil prices hit 9-month high
World oil prices continued to fluctuate on the morning of August 6, 2023. Specifically: WTI crude oil prices increased by 1.56% to 82.82 USD/barrel, Brent oil prices increased by 1.29% to 86.24 USD/barrel.

According to analysts at UBS Bank (Switzerland), with the extension of production cuts, they forecast the market will have a deficit of more than 1.5 million barrels/day in September, after a deficit of about 2 million barrels/day in July and August.
The domestic retail price of gasoline on the morning of August 6 was applied according to the adjustment session on August 1 by the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade.
