The final round of Miss Charm 2024 (Miss International Beauty) took place at Nguyen Du Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City with the competition of 37 contestants from all over the world. Vietnam's representative Quynh Nga won second runner-up.
The official title of Miss Universe goes to Rashmita Rasindran - the representative from Malaysia. The beauty has a bright smile, healthy brown skin, is 1.82m tall, and measures 90-66-92.5cm. She works in the field of design and communications.
First runner-up is Alana Deutsher-Moore - from Australia. She is 22 years old, 1.73m tall, a model and actress with many outstanding activities in showbiz.
The runner-up is the 2nd runner-up named Quynh Nga from Vietnam. The beauty was born in 1995, is 1.68m tall. She graduated from Foreign Trade University, is studying for a Master's degree in Business Administration in the US. Quynh Nga won the title of Miss Vietnam Student 2017, top 10 Miss World Vietnam 2019.
Before the final results were announced, the Miss Charm final stage was filled with emotion with the final walk of Miss Luma Russo after nearly 2 years in office. The Brazilian beauty queen appeared gorgeously on stage in a striking red dress. The 9x beauty queen shared emotional moments in the final moments of her term before removing the crown from the organizers, ready to hand it over to her successor.
The announcement of the top 3 was exciting with the sand painting performance by artist Hong Minh. The top 3 Miss Charm 2024 were officially revealed, including: beauties from Malaysia, Australia and Vietnam.
The beauties from Australia, Malaysia and Vietnam could not hide their emotions and happiness when they saw their faces appear on the picture. They continued to go through the second round of the interview to find the first and second runners-up.
The final top 6 in the behavior round include: Vietnam (voting winner), Malaysia, Colombia, Australia, Mexico and Indonesia.
Quynh Nga received the question: Present your thoughts on the role of tourism in preserving culture?
The Vietnamese representative confidently answered: “Tourism is very important in preserving culture. This is the driving force for local people to appreciate the uniqueness of local culture. They understand the origin and unique values of the nation, spread them to tourists and thus develop the economy. I think this is a cycle. Therefore, tourism is extremely important in preserving the culture of each country.”
The Malaysian beauty queen was asked the question: What would you do to encourage people to participate in cultural preservation activities?; The candidate from Colombia was asked the question: How important do you think the role of family is in shaping an individual's personality?; The Australian contestant was asked the question: Do you believe that beauty can change the world?; The Mexican beauty queen was asked the question: What do you think about the importance of art and culture in society?; The Indonesian representative was asked the question: How do you think tourism can preserve culture and boost the economy?
5 contestants answered questions in English, only the Colombian beauty presented in her mother tongue and was assisted by Miss Luma Russo in translating.
In the final, after the performance, the Miss Charm 2024 Organizing Committee announced the top 20 including representatives from the following countries: Namibia, Malaysia, Thailand, New Zealand, Germany, USA, South Africa, El Salvador, Vietnam, Philippines, Venezuela, Ecuador, Russia, Puerto Rico, Mexico, India, Colombia, Nigeria and Indonesia.
After the swimsuit competition, the top 10 were revealed, including representatives from Indonesia, Malaysia, Colombia, India, Germany, Namibia, Australia, Ecuador, and Namibia. Quynh Nga - representative from Vietnam surprised everyone when she was not named in this group.
After the evening gown competition, the organizers announced the winners of the following awards: Best Face : Miss New Zealand; Best Evening Gown : Miss India; Best in Swimsuit : Colombian contestant; Best Social Media : Indonesian contestant and Miss Friendly Beauty : representative from China.
Quynh Nga - Vietnam's representative won 2 secondary awards: Best Interview and Best National Costume . She was also named the winner in the audience's vote. Thus, Quynh Nga will be eligible to compete in the behavioral round with 5 other beauties.
