At the final night of Miss Charm 2024, Vietnam's representative - Nguyen Thi Quynh Nga excellently won the title of 2nd Runner-up and won 3 other sub-awards.
Final night Miss Charm 2024 took place on the evening of December 21 in Ho Chi Minh City with the competition of 37 beauties. The representative of Vietnam at this year's contest is Nguyen Thi Quynh Nga.
In the end, the Malaysian beauty won the Miss crown. The first runner-up title belonged to Australia, and Quynh Nga of Vietnam won the second runner-up title.
At the final night, Quynh Nga was not called into the Top 10. However, thanks to the most votes, the beauty had the opportunity to enter the Top 6 to answer the behavioral questions.
In the behavioral round, Quynh Nga received the question: “What do you think about the role of tourism in preserving culture?”.
The Vietnamese representative confidently answered: “I think tourism is very important in promoting and preserving culture. Because tourism can motivate people to appreciate their unique values and to know what their roots and origins are and to keep their unique values and attract tourists.
This in turn leads to economic growth and a virtuous cycle that keeps communities strong. This is why I believe tourism plays an important role in preserving culture.”
Quynh Nga's fluent English answers received enthusiastic responses from the audience.
In addition to the title of 2nd Runner-up, Quynh Nga received 3 additional awards: "Best Behavior", "Best National Costume" and "Most Voted Beauty".
In this year's journey, Quynh Nga joined the competition 4 days later than the other contestants because of her busy schedule studying for a master's degree in the US.
The beauty born in 1995 said that the activities in the past few days helped her and the contestants bond and become closer. They talked and exchanged a lot about culture, cuisine, training, and living together. The positive, vibrant energy from her international friends helped her gain more energy and motivation to integrate faster and at the same time do well in her role as a host contestant.
Despite joining the competition late, Quynh Nga performed quite well in the sprint stages. Before the final, many beauty sites assessed that the Vietnamese representative had a chance to enter the top 6.
Quynh Nga was born in 1995, possesses a sweet beauty with a height of 1m68. The 29-year-old beauty graduated from Foreign Trade University, fluent in English with IELTS 7.5.
She attended a high-quality course taught in English at Tel Aviv University (Israel) in August 2018. Also that year, she beat nearly 4,000 competitors to win a $6,000 startup scholarship (about 142 million VND) in Israel.
In 2024, she focused on pursuing a master's degree in Business Administration in the US.
