(Dan Tri) - Taking her son who was having a seizure to the emergency room, Ms. T. was helpless in the middle of a traffic jam during rush hour. Luckily, the mother and son were assisted by a man and two traffic police officers who took them to the hospital in time.
At around 6:30 p.m. on February 13, Ms. PT (35 years old, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi) had just finished work when she heard that her nearly 3-year-old son had a high fever, was having convulsions, his body was purple, and his teeth were clenched. Ms. T. and her relatives rushed the child to the emergency room.
At rush hour, traffic at the intersection of Le Van Luong - Hoang Minh Giam (towards To Hieu street, Ha Dong district) was congested, the whole road was jammed.
The mother had to get out of the car, run across the street, and ask a man to help take her to the clinic on Tran Duy Hung Street. However, this clinic only examines patients, and does not have the function of keeping patients for treatment.
"I was extremely confused, trying to calm myself down to find another hospital," Ms. T. recalled the moment when people around her directed her to a hospital 4-5km away.

The mother continued to ask the man to take her to the traffic police booth at the Nguyen Chanh - Tran Duy Hung intersection to ask for help, hoping to get her child to the hospital as quickly as possible.
At this time, an officer on duty from Traffic Police Team No. 6 used a special motorbike to take the mother and child to the hospital.
"The road from the tunnel to the intersection with the residential road was extremely crowded. Vehicles were packed on all sides, not a single gap. The horns kept blaring, and I shouted loudly, asking people to move out of the way so the cars could pass," said Ms. T.
Thanks to the help of the traffic police, the mother and son arrived safely at the hospital. The boy was hospitalized and diagnosed with acute rhinopharyngitis, tonsillitis, and viral fever.
A day later, when her son's condition had stabilized, Ms. T. posted on social media looking for the benefactor, and at the same time thanked the man driving the motorbike and the two traffic police officers.
"Thanks to you, my child arrived at the hospital safely and quickly, overcoming the critical condition. To me, you are all real-life heroes," Ms. T. wrote.

Captain Nguyen Tien Canh, an officer of Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Traffic Police Department, Hanoi Police) was the one who directly transported Ms. T. and her child to the emergency room.
Mr. Canh recalled that while sitting in the back of the car, the mother was still crying and complaining of pain because her child had bitten her finger during a seizure. When they arrived at the emergency room, she quickly carried her child to see the doctor.
Having taken the child to the emergency room in time, Captain Canh breathed a sigh of relief and returned to the checkpoint to direct traffic.
Reading Ms. T.’s article searching for her benefactor, Captain Nguyen Tien Canh and his comrade Major Nguyen Van Dung were extremely surprised. At noon that same day, two police officers went to the hospital to visit the child.
At the unexpected meeting, Ms. T. once again burst into tears, thanking the two "heroes".
"I am both moved and relieved that my son is recovering well," she confided.
