Main force officers and soldiers trained and ready for combat

Sweating training ground

We were present at Company 594 - an anti-aircraft artillery unit, under the General Staff Department, Hue City Military Command (CHQS) on these historic days of March. Despite the sweltering heat, the commands and orders of officers and soldiers still resounded throughout the artillery field. As a unit performing the combat readiness function (SSCD) to protect the safety of the airspace of Phu Bai International Airport and protect the airspace of Hue City, the training exercises not only require each soldier to have a firm grasp of the lesson content but also to skillfully perform the skills and movements, especially the sensitivity and flexibility in observing, detecting targets and handling possible situations.

Private First Class Le Phuoc Hung Anh, an artillery crew member, just stopped his sighting scope to observe the target and said that the training exercises for the soldiers have very high requirements. Therefore, during the training process, we must always be highly focused. The entire crew must actively practice and master the skills to effectively handle situations that may arise.

Lieutenant Doan Hai Dang, Deputy Captain of Company 594, informed: As one of the units carrying out special missions, during the training process, the unit has carried out theoretical training in parallel with practical training right on the battlefield, so that soldiers can grasp the lessons as they are trained and can practice them immediately after training. In addition, the unit focuses on advanced training and night training to improve the combat readiness of officers and soldiers in all conditions and situations.

Also a unit carrying out the combat readiness mission of the City Military Command, at Regiment 6, the training exercises for second-year soldiers are carried out seriously. Because for second-year soldiers, the training exercises will be of higher intensity, the requirements are also more severe, in which many training contents are in unfavorable weather conditions so that the soldiers can adapt to all combat conditions.

Private Che Van Lam, a soldier of Battalion 1, Regiment 6, shared: The training content for us will be more difficult and arduous, especially the training intensity is getting higher and higher, so each of us must try harder and make great efforts. Although the training process is hot and harsh, with the spirit of "One hour of enthusiasm is better than a day of formality", we always try our best to successfully carry out this year's training mission.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Bao Lan, Commander of Regiment 6, said: The Party Committee and the unit's command determined that the breakthrough is to focus on thoroughly disseminating the goals, targets, tasks, and training requirements of all levels to all officers and soldiers. Promote the vanguard and exemplary role of the leading cadres at all levels and direct agencies and units to do a good job of preparing for training from people to facilities, training grounds, and training grounds so that all officers and soldiers can go to training with the highest determination. At the same time, pay attention to the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers so that everyone can enthusiastically compete to achieve the highest results right from the first days of training.

In addition to the main force, at the district level, the militia and reserve units also entered the peak training season. The officers and soldiers of the entire city's armed forces, with the highest efforts and determination, did not mind the difficulties and hardships with the spirit of "Sweat on the training ground, less blood on the battlefield". At the same time, the emulation campaign to achieve achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the heroic city of Hue, launched on the first day of training, created a driving force and heroic spirit for 100% of officers and soldiers to be ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

According to Colonel Le Huy Nghia, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the City Military Command, identifying combat readiness training as a key political task, the City Military Command has therefore developed a thematic resolution with comprehensive and synchronous solutions to create a comprehensive breakthrough and improve the quality of training in the new situation. In particular, focusing on scientific and practical training, attaching importance to synchronous, specialized training, and night training. Continuing to innovate in organizing training methods, focusing on training and training of cadres at all levels; training according to tasks, close to the target and combat area, suitable to the organization, equipment and weapons, ensuring absolute safety.
