(NLDO) - In the session of December 16, demand focused on some stocks in the banking and consumer sectors... This trend may not stop yet.
At the end of the session on December 16, the VN-Index increased by more than 1 point (+0.1%), closing at 1,263 points.
Vietnamese stocks were green when entering the trading session on December 16. However, the increase in points at the beginning of the session was very modest, then gradually retreated and turned red at the end of the morning session and the beginning of the afternoon session.
However, due to weak stock supply pressure, the market made an effort to regain green at the end of the trading session.
At the end of the session, the VN-Index increased by more than 1 point (+0.1%), closing at 1,263 points. Liquidity decreased when only 385.9 million shares were matched on the HOSE floor.
With the market's fluctuating performance, most of the stock groups in the December 16 session increased and decreased within a narrow range. The only bright spot was the demand concentrated in some stocks in the banking, aviation, and consumer sectors such as BID up 0.75%, HVN up 3.21%, VNM up 1.25%... making many people expect that these sectors will attract buying power in the next session.
Vietcombank Securities Company (VCBS) said the market is accumulating points as demand for stocks returns at attractive prices.
"Investors can maintain their portfolio's proportion of stocks that attract stable cash flow. Some notable sectors are securities and banking..." - VCBS recommends.
Dragon Capital Securities Company (VDSC) commented that the stock supply is low, so the market is expected to be supported in the next trading session and have the opportunity to increase points in the coming time.
"Investors can exploit short-term opportunities in some stocks with positive developments, consider recovery phases to take profits on stocks that have increased rapidly to the resistance zone" - VDSC advises.
