The program was implemented from March 29 to 31, but on the first day, the number of customers coming to the shop exceeded expectations. Mr. Bui Nguyen Minh Sam - Manager of Kenbar Coffee & Tea - Gia Lai shared: "On the first day of opening, the shop received about 2,000 customers, so the staff served non-stop."

Mr. Sam added that to prepare for this program, the restaurant had planned carefully in advance, from choosing ingredients to making cakes to ensuring a quick service process so that customers do not have to wait too long. Ingredients include all-purpose flour, eggs, sugar, reputable and quality, and a variety of flavors such as chocolate, cocoa, matcha,... for customers to choose from.

“Since early morning, many customers have been lining up to buy drinks and receive cakes. The shop is always full, the staff has to work at full capacity to serve promptly. However, everyone feels happy to see customers excited about this program,” Mr. Sam shared.
The creation created a strong viral effect, Kenbar quickly became a tourist attraction. Many diners expressed their excitement when they first saw a cake shaped like a slipper.
Ms. Dang Thi Kim Sau (Group 4, Tra Ba Ward, Pleiku City) said: “I saw a lot of reviews online, so today I invited my friends to come along for the grand opening. Although I had to wait quite a while for my turn, when I held the cute little sandal-shaped cake in my hand, I felt very excited. The cake is not only cute but also has a delicious taste, the crust is soft and smooth, the filling inside is moderately sweet, and it is not too greasy to eat.”

Doan Thi My Tam (Khe Sieu village, Chu Pong commune, Chu Se district) also did not hesitate to travel a long distance to have the opportunity to experience it. “I have never seen this type of cake before, so when I saw the pictures and reviews online, I felt very curious and excited. Because I wanted to follow the trend and try it out, I decided to drive about 1 hour from Chu Se to Pleiku just to get to the shop. When I received the cake, I was very impressed because it looked exactly like a small sandal, the colors were beautiful, and it had a very attractive aroma,” My Tam shared.

Currently, the sandal-shaped cake giveaway program is still going on, attracting a large number of customers. Many people have planned to visit the restaurant to experience this special cake before the program ends.
