Selecting a contractor for the technical infrastructure of the 17,000 billion "mega-project"

On September 13, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City informed that the locality has just selected the winning bidder for package No. 36 to supply and install the complete air conditioning system for the investment project to build the City Convention - Performance Center and the synchronous technical infrastructure system in the North Song Cam Urban Area worth more than 150 billion VND.

Surpassing two other bidders, VMRC Joint Stock Company and the joint venture between BCA - Thang Long LLC and Nagakawa Group Joint Stock Company, the joint venture between Thang Long Vietnam Technology Engineering LLC and Postal Telecommunications - Informatics Joint Stock Company won the bid for package No. 36. The contract implementation period for the package is 18 months.

Nguoi Dua Tin has published an article “Hai Phong: Completing the 17,000 billion “mega-project” in 2025”. In particular, it is expected that in 2025, Hai Phong City will move its administrative center from the inner city to the Bac Song Cam urban area.

To build the Bac Song Cam urban area, Hai Phong City invested in six projects, including: Technical infrastructure of the Bac Song Cam urban area; wastewater plant, traffic signal system and park; technical infrastructure system for resettlement of Bac Song Cam; political-administrative center; conference-performance center; square in front of the political-administrative center.

The Hai Phong Urban Development Project Management Board and Civil Construction Investment was assigned by the Hai Phong City People's Committee to be the investor of the six above-mentioned projects. The total investment capital of these projects is about 17,000 billion VND .
