Kinhtedothi - Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) emphasized that the people are excited, proud and confident when the Party and State make historic decisions, bringing our country into an era of rising up, developing richly, prosperously, and the people have a prosperous and happy life.
This afternoon, February 20, with the spirit of urgent, democratic and highly responsible work, the 3rd Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure completed all the contents according to the proposed program.
The conference unanimously approved the Operating Regulations of the Central Committee, the Presidium, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the full-term Working Program of the Presidium, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 10th tenure, 2024-2029; discussed and gave opinions on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 on breakthroughs in science and technology (S&T) development, innovation and national digital transformation; Conclusion No. 123-KL/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Party Central Committee on the Supplementary Project on Socio-Economic Development in 2025 with the growth target of 8% or more.
At the same time, the Conference agreed to negotiate and add 2 members to the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, 2024-2029 term.
In his closing speech at the Conference, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien discussed the content reflecting the aspirations of the people from all walks of life. The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said that through the opinions at the Conference of the Presidium and the Conference of the Committee today, along with the process of contacting, listening, and gathering opinions widely through other information channels, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front deeply felt the joy and excitement of the people from all walks of life regarding the political and social stability of the country, the socio-economic development, the improvement of people's lives, and the increasingly enhanced position of the country.
The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said that people from all walks of life agree and support many major policies of the Party and State on streamlining the apparatus of the political system; the Resolution of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
According to Mr. Do Van Chien, the people are very happy and excited when the Party and the State decided to invest in key national projects with significant significance such as: the North-South high-speed railway, Long Thanh airport, the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong standard railway and the restart of the Ninh Thuan nuclear power plant.
Referring to the implementation of the North-South high-speed railway and the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong standard railway, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said that the Resolution of the National Assembly has applied a special mechanism to invest in this standard railway to promote socio-economic development in the Northern region. With the high political determination of the Politburo, the National Assembly and the Government, the site clearance will be resolutely implemented with appropriate and outstanding policies to ensure stable people's lives.
“We request that the Vietnam Fatherland Front in localities where the railway passes through participate in propaganda and mobilization of the people to support the land acquisition policy so that the investor can ensure progress; at the same time, participate in supervising the investor in implementing resettlement for the people. That is the responsibility of the Front when participating in key national programs with specific actions, so that the people can unite and join hands with the major policies of the Party and the State,” Mr. Do Van Chien stated.
Affirming that the People have deep confidence in strong innovation in removing difficulties and bottlenecks to promote economic development, achieving a growth rate of 8% or more in 2025 and reaching double digits in the following years, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also emphasized the excitement, pride and confidence of the people when the Party and the State made historic decisions, bringing our country into an era of rising up, building a strong, prosperous and prosperous country, and the People having a prosperous and happy life.
“Incorporating the opinions of the Conference participants, the Standing Committee will carefully study and develop each specific project, agree with relevant agencies and seek opinions from competent authorities, so that the Presidium can issue a call for “All people to unite and join hands to build a strong, prosperous and developed country in the era of national growth” - Mr. Do Van Chien informed.
At the closing session of the Conference, recognizing the outstanding achievements in the work of the Front in 2024, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front awarded the Emulation Flag to 18 Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities and 5 member organizations at the Central level; awarded Certificates of Merit to 33 Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities, 14 member organizations at the Central level, 187 collectives and 62 individuals of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels.
