Loc Ha and Que Lam Group agree to cooperate in developing clean agriculture

To promote the development of organic agriculture and circular agriculture in the area, the People's Committee of Loc Ha district (Ha Tinh) and Que Lam Group signed a cooperation agreement for the period 2023-2027.

On the afternoon of May 27, Loc Ha District People's Committee and Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company organized the signing of a cooperation program on building and developing organic agriculture.

Accordingly, from now until 2027, Loc Ha District People's Committee and Que Lam Group will work together to propagate and mobilize officials and people of Loc Ha to build, develop and replicate organic agricultural models and circular economy for community health and ecological environment.

Thereby, aiming to help farmers change their business mindset, develop agricultural production in a sustainable direction, increase the value of cultivation and livestock, increase land use efficiency, protect the environment and people's health. This cooperation process will also help develop the socio-economy, ensure livelihoods and social security in the area.

The two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation on building and developing organic agriculture.

According to the signed program, the two sides will focus on coordinating the implementation of 6 contents including: Propaganda to change awareness in the production and use of organic, clean, safe agricultural products and convert from inorganic production practices to organic agricultural production, circular agriculture, sustainable agriculture. Training and coaching for officials and farmers on knowledge of organic agriculture, circular agriculture and environmental protection.

Building and developing organic agricultural product value chains; building value chains for consuming organic agricultural products produced by farmers in the area; improving soil and increasing soil fertility; protecting the environment in agricultural production.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Lam - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company pledged to provide maximum support for Loc Ha to sustainably develop clean and organic agriculture.

In the cooperation program, Que Lam Group will support Loc Ha in building a production chain for crops and livestock, mainly investing in inputs and developing markets for organic agricultural products; providing breeds, organic feed, organic fertilizers, and biological products under the Que Lam brand; supporting the construction of valid records, documents, and invoices for model owners to settle payments for the policies they enjoy.

At the same time, support the construction of a chain of stores in the area to introduce and guide the consumption of organic agricultural products; build a value chain to consume all organic agricultural products produced according to cooperation and association programs and projects; implement specific economic contracts for each program, project, and specific association chains with farmers and cooperatives; train, educate, and guide farmers in the technical process of organic agricultural production in association models...

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Loc Ha District Party Secretary Nguyen The Hoan requested departments, branches and localities to closely coordinate so that the cooperation process can achieve good results. Both sides together show determination and responsibility to raise awareness, methods and production efficiency for farmers.

During the implementation process, localities with many advantages in production and livestock farming need to pay attention to and coordinate with Que Lam Group to build and replicate microbiological and organic production models, especially pig farming, rice cultivation, watermelon, melon and peanut cultivation.
