Nghi Xuan strives to soon complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses

On the morning of April 3, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee's monitoring delegation inspected the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Nghi Xuan district.

The delegation inspected the progress of the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Dan Truong commune.

The monitoring delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee inspected the progress of housing construction under the Government's Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses at poor households and families in especially difficult circumstances in the communes of Xuan Yen, Dan Truong, Xuan Hai and Xuan An town.

In recent times, Nghi Xuan district has taken drastic measures, mobilized all resources, focused on implementing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses; developed a specific and detailed implementation plan, ensuring seriousness, progress and efficiency. Directed communes and towns to regularly review and summarize the subjects that need priority support; regularly inspected and urged the implementation progress at the grassroots level.

In 2025, Nghi Xuan district will build and repair 108 houses (57 new houses and 51 repaired houses). To date, 101 houses have started construction, of which 65 are under construction, 36 have been completed; 7 houses have not yet started construction.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Nghi Xuan District Party Committee Le Trong Van: The District Steering Committee clearly assigned and assigned specific responsibilities to each unit, agency, and individual to implement the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

During the implementation process, we received the consensus and support of all classes of people, promoting the combined strength. Thereby, the whole district mobilized organizations and individuals to support more than 1.5 billion VND and contributed 1,332 working days to help households build new and repair houses.

Up to this point, the whole district has disbursed 712 million VND to 16 households, of which 8 households (2 new construction households, 6 repair households) received 100% of the funding; 8 households with newly built houses and completed foundations received 70% of the funding, each household received 49 million VND. Completed documents to disburse 70% of the funding for 33 houses under construction and 100% of the funding for 11 completed houses.

After inspecting the progress of housing construction in some localities and listening to the results report, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Pham Thi Thu Ha - Head of the working delegation highly appreciated the drastic participation of local Party committees and authorities in implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee requested the district to continue to closely follow and seriously implement, especially for the 7 households that have not built houses yet, need to pay attention, encourage, and have support plans so that the families can soon implement; focus on completely overcoming existing problems, limitations, and obstacles to strive to complete the support for construction and repair for households under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with high results.
