Speeding up construction of 120 billion VND bridge in Vu Quang

Hop Chuoi Bridge Project (Vu Quang town) is of special importance in completing the town's traffic infrastructure according to the approved planning, serving people's needs, promoting socio-economic development, and trade of goods in the district.

The project has a total investment of 120 billion VND, constructed by Hoang Ngoc Construction and Trading Company Limited (Huong Khe). Started on December 20, 2023, the project is expected to be completed before June 30, 2025 (6 months ahead of schedule).

Identifying the role and importance of the project, since the start of construction, the working atmosphere at the construction site has always been urgent and serious.

Hop Chuoi Bridge is designed with 5 spans, 178m long and 7m wide. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Anh - Commander of Hoang Ngoc Construction and Trading Company Limited said: "Thanks to the construction efforts, up to now, the project has reached 75% of the volume. Specifically, 25/30 girders have been constructed, pier M1 and pillars T1, T2, T3 have been completed. In addition, the unit has also constructed the roads at both ends of the bridge, reaching 70% of the volume, with a length of 2/2.7km).

The contractor is focusing on mobilizing maximum machinery, human resources, supplies and materials to complete the project according to the set schedule.

Mr. Nguyen Van Son - a construction worker at the site said: "Determining the importance of the project, we always closely follow the tasks we undertake. Construction in river conditions has certain difficulties, but we always focus highly, put quality first and commit to constructing according to the design documents. With the efforts of the unit, we hope that Hop Chuoi bridge will be completed before June 30."

Determining that the project completion time is running out, Hoang Ngoc Construction and Trading Company Limited is focusing on adding more machinery and human resources, increasing 7 excavators, 2 drills and 3 cranes along with more than 40 workers and construction technicians to ensure the set progress.

Hop Chuoi Bridge is expected to open up new development space for Vu Quang town.
