“Building new rural areas associated with developing agricultural, rural and green tourism; preserving and promoting traditional cultural values”, this is the theme of the 2nd Mass Arts Festival of New Rural Communes in Phan Thiet City in 2023.
According to the plan just issued by the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City, the festival is expected to be held in December. Specifically, Thien Nghiep, Phong Nam, Tien Loi, Tien Thanh communes will each establish a local mass art team with at least 12 actors. The program consists of 2 parts: a skit (drama) and a performance including singing, dancing or singing and dancing; duration is from 30 - 40 minutes.
The content praises the Party, praises beloved Uncle Ho and the renovation of the homeland, the tradition of patriotism, demonstrating the determination to protect the sovereignty of the sacred borders and islands of the Fatherland. Introduces unique folk art activities closely associated with the lives of the people in labor production; achievements in building new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas; promotes and introduces rural tourism models, agricultural tourism products in the direction of developing green tourism in the locality. Commends the example of "good people, good deeds" in the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", "Building new rural areas"; vividly reflects the positive changes of grassroots cultural life in the process of building new rural areas associated with tourism development.
The festival is part of a series of activities organized by Phan Thiet City in response to the National Tourism Year 2023 with the theme "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence". At the same time, it creates favorable conditions for communes building new rural areas to exchange and learn from experiences. The contents of the festival also affirm the position and role of mass art in the spiritual life of farmers, contributing to the construction and development of an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.
