Information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Soc Son district said that this unit is collecting people's opinions on the proposal to recognize Hanoi as completing the task of building new rural areas in 2024.
Accordingly, the content of collecting opinions was carried out with 9 questions; collecting opinions of 11,005 households in 29 residential areas (villages) in 29 villages and residential areas in 8 communes including: Phu Lo, Phu Linh, Duc Hoa, Xuan Giang, Phu Cuong, Mai Dinh, Quang Tien, Phu Minh.
Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Soc Son district, Vi Thi Binh Anh, requested that the grassroots Vietnam Fatherland Front system evaluate the results of new rural construction through public opinion polls to ensure objectivity, democracy, timeliness, and procedures, and honestly reflect people's comments and assessments of the results.
In addition, Ms. Vi Thi Binh Anh also requested the Party Committee and Steering Committee of the new rural construction program of 8 communes in Soc Son district selected for voting to focus on directing and coordinating with the Fatherland Front Committees of the communes to collect opinions from local people, striving to complete at the grassroots level before July 23, 2024.
According to the Hanoi New Rural Area Coordination Office, the city currently has 18 out of 18 districts and towns meeting new rural standards. Four districts including Dong Anh, Gia Lam, Thanh Tri and Hoai Duc have submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for consideration and recognition as meeting new rural standards.
In addition, Dan Phuong, Thanh Oai and Thuong Tin districts have been assessed as qualified by the Hanoi City and Central Inspection Team, are waiting for people's satisfaction, and are striving to be recognized in August 2024.
