For more than 20 years, Chang A Pao's family in Lung Cung village (Nam Co commune, Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province) has had to live in an unsafe temporary house.
The house is rickety, lacking in the front and back, which has a significant impact on the family's life, especially on rainy and cold winter days. Through the village's review and vote, in 2025, Mr. Pao's family will receive 60 million VND in support to eliminate dilapidated houses for poor households.
Immediately after knowing that he was one of the 8 households chosen to build a house in the village, the family quickly prepared materials and contributed nearly 100 million to rebuild the house. Pao's family is trying to finish the new house this February.
"Due to difficult circumstances, my parents and I have lived in the old house for over 20 years, but due to lack of resources, we have not built a house yet.
Luckily this year my family received 60 million VND from the government to rebuild the house, so right after Tet, my family prepared all the materials to rebuild the house to ensure safety. I am very grateful for the attention of the Party and the State for supporting my family," said Mr. Chang A Pao, Lung Cung village, Nam Co commune, Mu Cang Chai district.
