Lenovo brings to MWC 2024 a concept laptop with a transparent screen. The Lenovo ThinkBook Transparent Display Concept looks like a device from the future with a completely transparent 17.3-inch mini LED screen.

According to Lenovo, the LED-based display has a brightness of 1,000 nits and allows for a see-through display on the back of the screen. This enables some AI features like locating objects placed behind the transparent screen.

Motorola also showed off a unique concept based on a bendable smartphone. Its phone can be wrapped around the wrist and worn like a smartwatch.

Equipped with a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLEd display, it “transforms” into many different versions such as a smartwatch, folds into a stand or acts as a tent for use on both sides.

The idea of a phone that can change shape as desired is appealing, but it raises questions about durability. Still, it shows that the foldable smartphone market is still looking for new designs.

Xiaomi also pushes AI features like Portrait AI, which creates a hyper-realistic AI model of you or someone else based on 20 photos and then places that model into the scene or image of your choice.

Additionally, the built-in large language model helps enable features like creating short videos using available photos and videos, via prompts.

According to Honor, Magic 6 Pro supports AI-based eye tracking, detecting which notification the user is looking at on the screen to open the relevant app without clicking.
