On the evening of March 11, Ho Chi Minh City Police had an initial verification of the clip of traffic police swearing and using vulgar language while on duty that was spread on social networks.

Specifically, social networks shared a 10-second clip of a traffic police team checking a pedestrian’s papers. In it, a traffic police officer made rude comments.

According to initial verification, the incident in the clip occurred at 1:50 p.m. on March 10 on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, through An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City.

At this time, the working group of the Cat Lai Traffic Police Department discovered a man driving a motorbike without a rearview mirror, so they signaled him to stop for an administrative check.

This young man presented his ID card in the name of HVH (born in 1995, from Ba Ria - Vung Tau) and vehicle registration. Lieutenant Colonel VMH asked for his driver's license, but the young man did not have it.

Lieutenant Colonel VMH blurted out to a member of the working group, Captain LTT, and said the same words as in the clip circulating online.

According to the verification of the Traffic Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel VMH and Captain LTT were in the same unit and were close to each other, so when they talked, they spoke very naturally, so there were inappropriate words with each other, not those words were used to communicate with the violator.

It is known that after that, Lieutenant Colonel VMH made a record of violation with HVH for the error of "no left rearview mirror for the driver", temporarily confiscated the driver's license and this person agreed with the violation.
