Therefore, in parallel with the work of student orientation, vocational education orientation, vocational training for workers, raising awareness for workers to grasp and participate in vocational training programs before entering the labor market, every year, Tan Son District People's Committee directs the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to select and coordinate with qualified enterprises to send workers to work abroad under contract to organize propaganda sessions in residential areas and communes in the area.
Mr. Hoang Manh Hung - Head of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Tan Son district said: Party committees and local authorities have given close and drastic instructions in the work of job creation, paying special attention to the content of sending rural workers to work abroad under contracts. The District People's Committee has directed the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to coordinate with enterprises to organize propaganda sessions in communes and residential areas on the work of sending workers to work abroad under contracts, thereby, many workers have registered to participate in work programs in stable markets with high salaries such as Japan and Taiwan. For "difficult" job markets such as European countries and Korea, initially, some workers have also approached and met the requirements. In 2023, the whole district will have over 200 workers going abroad; In the first 8 months of 2024, 130 workers went abroad to work.
It can be seen that sending workers to work abroad under contracts is a suitable and effective way to solve employment in the current era. Through the approach of professional working style, diversified production and business methods, disciplined working environment, high skill requirements in developed labor markets, it plays a role as an effective channel of education and vocational training for rural workers.
On the other hand, after working abroad, workers have more capital to develop production when their contracts expire and they return to their hometowns.
