The three Army Officer Schools 2, Engineering, and Information keep the same four admission methods as last year.
This year, three schools recruited a total of more than 1,000 military students. Of these, Army Officer School 2 recruited the most with 493 students, down nearly 40 compared to last year.
The Engineering Officer School and the Information School recruited 196 and 318 students respectively, reducing 55 and 23 targets.
All three schools do not recruit female students, and use the same two admission combinations: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry) and A01 (Math, Physics, English). Admission methods include: direct admission and priority admission for excellent students, based on the results of the capacity assessment exam of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University, considering academic records, and based on high school graduation exam scores.

Previously, the Military Technical Academy announced that in 2025 it would recruit 360 military students, a reduction of 180 compared to last year.
The academy has just announced that out of 360 military students this year, 180 will be sent abroad for training, an increase of 50 people.
In addition, 5 training quotas at non-military schools; 175 training quotas at the Academy, including 30 quotas for training 2 high-quality engineering majors: Information and Information Systems Security.
The school enrolls students nationwide, with two groups A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry) and A01 (Math, Physics, English).
The four admission methods of the Military Technical Academy include: direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of National Defense; consideration of excellent high school students; Competency assessment test scores organized by two national universities; high school graduation exam scores.
Last year, the Military Technical Academy's benchmark score ranged from 25.46 to 27.71 based on high school graduation exam results. The highest benchmark score was for female candidates from the North.
