Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training has just announced the enrollment quota for grade 10 high school in the 2025-2026 school year in the province.
On March 5, Mr. Do Huu Quynh, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, said that the Department has provided instructions on enrollment in grade 10 of high school for the 2025-2026 school year in the province to high schools and Departments of Education and Training of districts, towns and cities.
According to Mr. Do Huu Quynh, disseminating information on admission to grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year helps students have the best time to prepare for this important exam.
Specifically, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted enrolls 280 students/8 classes (35 students per class). Including 1 specialized math class, 1 specialized physics class, 1 specialized chemistry class, 1 specialized biology class, 1 specialized computer science class, 1 specialized literature class and 2 specialized English classes.
The provincial Ethnic Minority Boarding High School enrolls 70 ethnic minority students/2 classes, of which Khanh Son District has 23 students, 8 in Cam Ranh City, 4 in Cam Lam District, 30 in Khanh Vinh District and 5 students in Ninh Hoa Town. At the same time, the school enrolls 35 gifted students/class (currently members of gifted sports classes managed by the Sports Technical Training Center).
Students of Nguyen Van Troi High School (Nha Trang City)
For 27 public high schools in the province, the Department of Education and Training assigned an enrollment target of 10,245 students/231 classes. Of which, 2 schools in Nha Trang City, Ly Tu Trong High School and Nguyen Van Troi High School, have the highest enrollment target (both 675 students/15 classes), while Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School and High School (Khanh Vinh District) have the lowest target (105 students/3 classes).
For Nguyen Van Troi High School (Nha Trang City), the target of 675 new students includes 38 students expected to study French as a first foreign language.
Students who register their first choice for a public high school will take the exam at the Examination Council of that public high school. Students who register for Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted will take the exam at the Examination Council of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted.
The 10th grade entrance exam will take place on June 3 and 4. Candidates will take three subjects: literature, math (120 minutes/subject) and English (60 minutes). If candidates take the specialized subject exam (including math, physics, chemistry, biology, literature, English and IT), they will have 150 minutes to complete the exam. The admission method will combine admission and entrance exams.
In particular, the 2025-2026 school year has an additional regulation on adding bonus points for junior high school students who win provincial-level prizes organized by the Department of Education and Training or in coordination with departments and branches organized on a provincial scale for cultural, artistic and sports competitions; scientific and technical research competitions organized at the national level. First prize is awarded 1.5 points; second prize is awarded 1 point; third prize is awarded 0.5 points. Bonus points are added to the total admission score calculated on a 10-point scale for each subject and exam.
No changes allowed after May 3
In addition to the wish to register for admission to grade 10 at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, students can register for 2 wishes in order of priority to enter grade 10 at public high schools according to the prescribed admission area.
Before April 26, high schools with 9th grade students must complete the instruction and enter the students' first registration data into the enrollment management software 10.
From April 28 to May 3, students register their second choice. After May 3, they cannot change their registered choice.
