At the meeting, the representative of the Australian Wool Association in Vietnam said that through research, the association found that Du Long Industrial Park in Ninh Thuan is one of the potential locations, converging all the factors to establish a number of Australian wool processing and spinning factories in the near future. Thereby, they hope to cooperate with the province; at the same time, they commit to organizing training for local human resources to be able to operate the factory, promoting the common development of the participating parties.
Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed and appreciated the goodwill of the Australian Wool Association for its interest in and research into investment in the province. To promote and improve the effectiveness of cooperation, he hoped that the association would step up support for connecting and working with Australian investors and businesses to invest in the proposed fields in Du Long Industrial Park. The province will create the most favorable conditions in terms of legality, administrative procedures as well as apply preferential policies in accordance with the provisions of law, ensuring the interests of both parties. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Planning and Investment to take the lead in coordinating and providing information to members of the association; on that basis, agree on a sustainable and long-term investment cooperation plan.
