The Academy of Finance, with a history of more than 60 years, is considered the cradle that has trained generations of finance and accounting professionals for the country, many of whom have grown up and held important positions in the Government, State, corporations and large enterprises.
Through many generations of staff, MISA counts about 500 alumni of the School. Among them, there are successful alumni such as General Director Dinh Thi Thuy, Deputy General Director Le Hong Quang, Finance Director Nguyen Thi Ngoan, Chief of Office of the Corporation Do Thi Kieu Lien...
MISA and the Academy share the same mission of operating in the field of finance and accounting, so the cooperative relationship has been initiated for decades with the transfer of computerized accounting textbooks and accounting software into student training along with many career guidance and experience sharing activities.
MISA General Director Dinh Thi Thuy chaired and led the Academy's leadership delegation to visit the headquarters and exchange with MISA AVA.
Overview of the seminar
Facing the new trend of applying digital technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), the two units sat down together to discuss, to find directions for development and cooperation to improve the quality of human resources for the industry as well as further promote the updating of advanced technology for teachers and students of the Academy.
The seminar took place on the afternoon of October 10, 2024 at MISA headquarters. Attending the program:
- On the side of the Academy of Finance , there were Dr. Nguyen Van Binh - Chairman of the School Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung - Director of the Academy; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Co - Former Secretary of the Party Committee, Former Director of the Academy; Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Thi Thuy - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Academy; along with members of the Board of Directors and Leaders of Faculties/Departments/Offices.
- On MISA's side, CEO Dinh Thi Thuy presided over the reception, with the participation of CEO Intern Le Hong Quang, Director of the Institute of Technology Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of MIBI Institute Doan Thi Bich Ngoc, Chief of the Corporation's Office Do Thi Kieu Lien and MISA staff.
In her opening speech, MISA General Director Dinh Thi Thuy expressed her honor to receive the support and companionship of the Academy's Board of Directors in the development and implementation of digital transformation solutions.
On the side of the Academy of Finance, Dr. Nguyen Van Binh - Chairman of the Board of Directors also highly appreciated the achievements of MISA, especially the application of AI in the field of finance - accounting. He expressed his pride in the close and sustainable relationship between the Academy of Finance and MISA over the past 10 years. At the same time, he hoped to have the opportunity to discuss more deeply with MISA on digital transformation issues in training management and human resource management.

During the meeting, MISA shared with the Board of Directors of the Academy of Finance about accounting trends in the digital age, proposed training cooperation between the two sides, introduced MISA's recruitment opportunities and digital transformation in management. Thereby, MISA also expressed its desire to cooperate and support the Academy of Finance more deeply in digital transformation and technology application in management and training.
Ms. Vu Bich Thuy - Product Director introduces accounting trends in digital technology
Ms. Doan Thi Bich Ngoc - Director of the Institute of Business Innovation (MIBI) introduced MISA's digital transformation solutions, the system of training curriculum - software - documents - knowledge repository for students that MISA has built. From there, she proposed training cooperation activities, as well as coordinating the organization of competitions for students.
Based on statistics on the recruitment situation of students of the Academy of Finance over the past years, MISA expects to continue to be the ideal choice for the school's talents.
Chief of Office of MISA Corporation Do Thi Kieu Lien shared about the recruitment plan as well as proposed activities to help students know about MISA's recruitment programs.
Representatives of both sides exchanged and discussed in depth the topic of applying digital technology and AI in finance and accounting as well as activities towards close cooperation between the two sides.
The academy's leadership and MISA recorded the moment the meaningful discussion took place successfully.
With a shared vision of promoting educational development in the digital era, both units are committed to continuing to accompany and develop breakthrough technology solutions, contributing to bringing Vietnam to international level in the fields of education and finance.
