This program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association (YBA) this year. Entrepreneurs shared strategic perspectives on promoting innovation and business development in the new era.
How to deal with Gen Z workforce?
From the audience, a question was raised: "How to deal with Gen Z workers today?". The question is also the reality that many businesses are facing.
The speakers all said that human resources in businesses have and will have many workers belonging to Generation Z, and in the near future, there will be Alpha workers. This requires leaders to have appropriate behaviors, so as to promote the creativity and dynamism of these young workers.
FPT General Director Nguyen Van Khoa said they are treated equally like other workers. The goal must be to manage talent to maximize the intelligence of the team.
This is concrete by always acknowledging the initiatives and ideas of each worker. On average, thousands of initiatives are promoted every year.
"At any time of the night, if employees have an idea, they can text their bosses. The point is that the ideas must come from real work, not from the clouds," said Mr. Khoa.
Another issue is raised: how can businesses develop to contribute to building a green and digital economy? Many opinions agree that focusing on the green and digital economy is vital for many units.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Tri, Vinamilk's marketing executive director, said that choosing to innovate or reform depends on the business.
In his unit, the issue of innovation or reform is also considered from the perspective of whether it brings value to the community and society.

Innovation: a matter of business survival
This is the 10th year the Vietnam CEO Forum has been held, attracting a large number of CEOs to attend.
YBA Chairman Le Tri Thong - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, CEO of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company - shared this year's theme to open up the business community, leaders and CEOs to share stories about transformation and evolution.
The ability to choose the right path in a volatile business environment is a core competency of an enterprise. "This creates incentives for innovation, leading to sustainable growth and development of the enterprise," said Mr. Thong.

Faced with challenges and twists in the marketplace, will businesses choose reform or innovation? Will this choice promote sustainable development in the future and help businesses achieve good profits?
These are also some of the many questions raised at the program. Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, FPT General Director, said that "profit - productivity - innovation" (profit - productivity - innovation) has become FPT's slogan.
"Employees take the responsibility for improvement and leaders take responsibility for reform. When these two are in harmony, it will promote the unit to develop more.
In addition, respecting differences and always recognizing new ideas from employees has become our corporate culture," said Mr. Khoa.
