Party and State leaders visit President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on the occasion of Lunar New Year

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, on the morning of January 23, the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.

Attending the ceremony were: General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; President Luong Cuong; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; former National Assembly Chairmen Nguyen Sinh Hung and Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Cam Tu; Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.

Members of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, and many leaders of the Party and State, former leaders of the Party and State, leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and organizations attended the funeral.

The delegation's wreath bears the inscription "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh".

With boundless gratitude, the delegation respectfully paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader and national liberation hero. He devoted his whole life to the people and the country, leading our Party and people to glorious victories, bringing glory to our nation and our country.

Our entire Party, people and army are striving to accelerate and soon reach the finish line to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, based on the strength of great national unity, closely linking the Party's will with the people's hearts, promoting the spirit of "self-reliance, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-strengthening, national pride", and the spirit of pure international solidarity as a driving force, Vietnam will certainly firmly enter a new era, an era of national growth, contributing more to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, in accordance with President Ho Chi Minh's will - that is "to build a peaceful, unified, independent, democratic and prosperous Vietnam, making a worthy contribution to the world revolutionary cause".

Next, the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Monument, Bac Son Street, Hanoi.

The delegation bowed in memory of the nation's outstanding sons who fought and sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people. The delegation's wreath bore the inscription: "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs".

On the same morning, delegations from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, the Central Public Security Party Committee - Ministry of Public Security, the City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Hanoi... came to lay wreaths and visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; lay wreaths and commemorate heroic martyrs.

On the morning of January 23, Party and State leaders and former Party and State leaders laid wreaths and offered incense to pay their respects to revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs at Mai Dich Cemetery - Hanoi.
