Kim Boi (Hoa Binh): Cultural exchange to promote the reduction of early marriage and incestuous marriage in ethnic minority areas

Attending the exchange night were Mr. Pham Van Kha, Head of the Justice Department of Kim Boi district; representatives of departments of Kim Boi district; representatives of the Party Committee and People's Committee of My Hoa commune and a large number of people in the commune.

The exchange night took place excitingly with 10 special singing, dancing, music and skits with themes praising the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland and country, staged and performed by art troupes from villages, hamlets and schools in My Hoa commune. Thereby creating a joyful atmosphere, attracting a large number of people to watch and cheer.

The highlight of the program was a propaganda skit titled “I understand now” with practical propaganda content about the consequences of early marriage and incestuous marriage.

Through the cultural exchange night to propagate the reduction of early marriage and consanguineous marriage, it contributes to raising awareness, sense of social responsibility, community of ethnic minority people in implementing the provisions of the law on marriage and family; creating consensus in society to effectively prevent early marriage and consanguineous marriage... contributing to improving the quality of population and human resources in Kim Boi district.

The cultural exchange program is specified from Plan 160/KH-UBND of the People's Committee of Kim Boi district dated August 9, 2024 on Propaganda, dissemination and education of the law "Reducing the situation of early marriage and consanguineous marriage of ethnic groups facing many difficulties, ethnic groups with specific difficulties" under the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2024". According to the Plan, Kim Boi district will organize the exchange program in 17 communes and 18 locations in the district. Currently, Kim Boi district has organized the exchange night in 5 communes.
