Launching a technology competition with a total prize of 200 million VND

DENSO Factory Hacks is dedicated to the technology enthusiast community. This is the first time Denso Vietnam Co., Ltd. (DMVN) and FPT Software have organized this contest.

The goal is to find smart solutions that apply core technologies such as data, artificial intelligence, virtual reality (AR/VR), Internet of Things, cloud computing... thereby optimizing the operating model in the Denso factory. The total prize value of the competition is up to 200 million VND.

DENSO Factory Hacks is a large-scale and professional playground for personnel as well as students in the fields of information technology, telecommunications, automation, mechatronics in particular or young people who are passionate about technology and love creativity in general.

To participate, candidates need to have basic knowledge or love to learn about one of the following technology fields: Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things. The competition is conducted in independent teams, with a maximum size of 5 people, with no limit on country or territory.

The competition takes place from September 5, 2023 to January 10, 2024, with 3 rounds: CV Scan, qualifying round and final round. 20 teams that pass CV Scan will receive their competition topics at the first Bootcamp on October 10.

Each team will receive direct guidance and support from a professional mentor, and participate in workshops on data processing and device programming.

The top 10 teams in the qualifying round will receive funding of VND5 million each to develop products and solutions. In this round, the level of technological breakthrough and practicality in the factory business model are the criteria for selecting the best teams.

The five teams that advance to the final round will spend two days at FPT Software’s Codecation Hola Park campus, finding solutions and presenting their projects. The winning team will receive a cash prize of VND100 million.

" DENSO hopes that the competition will find new technology application ideas and different approaches that can be nurtured and applied in the future to DENSO factories, while also inspiring creativity for engineers," said a representative of the organizing committee.

With nearly 25 years of experience operating in the international market, FPT Software will support contestants in finding the most outstanding and creative solutions. FPT Software representative said that the competition will be an opportunity to find and train high-quality engineers for the company.
