A representative of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Hue University, said that they have just coordinated with the Vietnam - Japan Entrepreneurs Association (E-Future), the Department of Science and Technology of Hue City and a number of units to organize the final round of the 2nd "Vietnam Startup Contest 2024".
The event took place on January 14, with the participation of Mr. Mori Takero, Consul General of Japan in Da Nang, and representatives of major investment funds from the land of the rising sun such as Daiwa Corporate Investment, Z Venture Capital. In addition, many Vietnamese innovation centers and startup incubators also participated, creating a vibrant and multi-dimensional forum.
Mr. Mori Takero expressed his joy at witnessing the success of Vietnamese students studying in Japan and affirmed that Japan is always ready to support Vietnam in the fields of innovation.

At the final round of the Vietnam Startup Contest 2024 with the theme "Connecting startups, creating the future", representatives of 8 excellent startup projects nationwide made impressive presentations, attracting the attention of Japanese investors, opening up many investment prospects in the future.
As a result, the UCTalent Labs project of UCTalent Labs LLC won first prize in the competition.
UCTalent is a project that helps solve challenges in the technology recruitment market, especially in the fields of blockchain (an advanced database mechanism that enables transparent information sharing within a business network) and Web3 (a general term for technologies that decentralize ownership and control of data on the Internet).
This project sets out to replace traditional recruitment methods that are time-consuming and costly, and do not meet the rapidly changing needs of companies.

The second prize of the contest was awarded to the Binks project: plant painting by Binks Green Products Joint Stock Company; the third prize went to the AIRemedy green plant integrated air purifier project by TreeOTek Joint Stock Company.
The Vietnam Startup Contest 2024 event marked an important step forward for the Vietnamese startup ecosystem, while affirming the deep cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, especially in the field of innovation.
This event is not only a place to showcase breakthrough ideas from Vietnamese startups, but also an opportunity for them to approach prestigious venture capital funds from Japan.
