In Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Tran Dung Ha - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance led a delegation to visit Nguyen Van Luong Secondary School (District 6, Ho Chi Minh City). On behalf of the City Social Insurance, Mr. Tran Dung Ha sent congratulations, visits and encouragement to teachers on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20. Recognizing the school's efforts as well as flexibility and ingenuity in calling for support for health insurance cards for poor students, Mr. Tran Dung Ha presented a certificate of merit from Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance to Nguyen Van Luong Secondary School and Principal Dinh Phu Cuong personally.

On this occasion, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance also allocated funds from the Charity Fund to award scholarships to 89 disadvantaged students of the school, worth VND500,000/scholarship, with a total award amount of VND44,500,000.

“The charity fund of the City Social Insurance is contributed by the staff and employees of the unit with one day's salary. Hopefully, the small gift contributed from the hearts of all staff and employees of the Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance will add to the warm fire, light up the faith and hope in life for students in difficult circumstances. Hopefully, the humane messages of the social insurance and health insurance policies will spread to the social community, especially businesses and benefactors who will accompany the Vietnam Social Insurance industry”, Mr. Tran Dung Ha shared.

Mr. Dinh Phu Cuong - Principal of Nguyen Van Luong Secondary School thanked the attention and encouragement of the HCM City Social Insurance; at the same time, he said that after 2 days of calling, the school had received support of up to 200 health insurance cards. With the number of health insurance cards exceeding the expectation, the school will ask for opinions to save and take care of disadvantaged students during the upcoming Lunar New Year.

Also in the morning of the same day, Ms. Do Thi Hang - Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Social Insurance and the working delegation of the provincial Social Insurance agency visited To Hieu Primary School in Buon Ma Thuot City. Ms. Do Thi Hang sent her regards, encouragement and awarded certificates of merit to the collective of To Hieu Primary School and Principal Doan Thi Tuyet Yen. In addition, the provincial Social Insurance also donated 2 million VND from the contribution of civil servants and employees for the school to buy health insurance cards for disadvantaged students.

Talking to the Dak Lak Social Insurance delegation, Ms. Doan Thi Tuyet Yen - Principal of To Hieu Primary School (Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province) said that the school wrote an open letter to call for the purchase of health insurance cards for 55 students. So far, parents and sponsors have donated enough money to buy 43 health insurance cards. In addition to the amount of money donated by the Social Insurance agency's staff, the school will use it to buy more health insurance cards for the remaining students.
