Party and State leaders offer incense to commemorate heroic martyrs

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Da Nang City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025), on the morning of March 29, a delegation of leaders of the Party, State, Government; central ministries and branches led by Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, solemnly held a ceremony to offer flowers and incense to heroic martyrs at the Da Nang City Memorial.

Also attending the funeral were Politburo members, Central Party Secretaries, and many Party and State leaders; former Party and State leaders; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, and organizations; leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City. The wreath of the delegation bore the inscription "Comrade To Lam - General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam respectfully pays his respects". With infinite gratitude, the delegation respectfully remembered the nation's outstanding sons who did not spare their blood and bones, bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people. Our entire Party, people, and army strived to strive, accelerate, and soon reach the finish line to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam is steadily entering a new era, an era of national growth, contributing more to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, in accordance with President Ho Chi Minh's will - that is "to build a peaceful, unified, independent, democratic and prosperous Vietnam, making a worthy contribution to the world revolutionary cause".

As a meaningful activity taking place right before the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang, the memorial service shows the deep gratitude of the leaders and people of the whole country in general, and Da Nang city in particular, to the outstanding children who fell for the independence and freedom of the nation. The incense offering ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs is also a sacred connection between the heroic past and the peaceful, developing present, promoting the revolutionary tradition, the spirit of solidarity, creativity, overcoming all difficulties and challenges to build Da Nang city to grow stronger.
