Scientific workshop on promoting cultural values of Quang Ninh people

On the morning of March 29, Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School organized a scientific workshop on implementing provincial-level science and technology tasks on "raising awareness of cadres and party members in building and promoting the cultural values of Quang Ninh people today".

Attending the workshop were representatives of the Ho Chi Minh Institute and Party leaders, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School and a number of departments and branches in the province.

In order to build and develop the culture of Quang Ninh people to meet the requirements of rapid development of the province and the country, over the past years, the provincial Party Committees and authorities have issued and effectively implemented many policies to promote the development of human culture. The criteria for building Quang Ninh people were also set out right from the early days of the renovation period and continued to be supplemented and adjusted throughout the development process, thereby continuously nurturing and enriching from generation to generation. Up to now, Quang Ninh has identified the value system of Quang Ninh province as "Beautiful nature - Unique culture - Civilized society - Transparent administration - Developed economy - Happy people".

In the context of globalization and international integration, the work of building and developing Quang Ninh's human culture needs to be promoted with urgent tasks set out in the current situation. Recognizing that importance, the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress identified "Building a culture rich in Quang Ninh's identity associated with narrowing the gap between rich and poor" as one of the three strategic breakthroughs. The Provincial Party Executive Committee has also issued many Resolutions and documents "On building and promoting cultural values, human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development" and "Improving the quality of economic growth, developing culture, and people rich in Quang Ninh's identity". The documents and resolutions issued by Party committees and leaders at all levels have shown the importance of building and promoting the cultural values of Quang Ninh people, including the role of the cadres and Party members of the province - those who play the role of leaders, orienters and organizers of political tasks - who have the core responsibility in building and promoting the cultural values of Quang Ninh people.

Dr. Do Minh Tuan, Vice Principal of Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School, delivered the opening speech at the Workshop.

The workshop attracted the attention and participation of many authors and groups of authors with 50 articles and 8 presentations presented at the workshop and many contributions showing the richness, depth, dedication, enthusiasm and responsibility of the delegates and scientists. At the workshop, delegates focused on presenting, exchanging, discussing and clarifying theoretical and practical issues as well as proposing practical solutions such as: Theoretical basis for raising awareness of cadres and party members in building and promoting the cultural values of Quang Ninh people today; Current status of awareness of cadres and party members in promoting the cultural values of Quang Ninh people today; Solutions to raise awareness of cadres and party members in building and promoting the cultural values of Quang Ninh people today.

MSc. Tran The Khoa, Vice Principal of Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School, delivered the concluding speech at the Workshop.

The workshop is a very meaningful scientific forum that has contributed to strengthening and raising the awareness of cadres and party members about the importance of building and promoting the cultural values of Quang Ninh people, and at the same time proposing many practical solutions to concretize the Resolutions of the Central Committee as well as the province in the coming time. Based on the presentations, comments and contributions of the delegates, creating favorable conditions for the research group to absorb, supplement and successfully implement the provincial science and technology tasks, contributing to creating a strong driving force for the rapid and sustainable development of the province.
