On March 29, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Le Khanh Kieu - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thai Hoa town (Nghe An) said that the accident on the Dien Chau - Bai Vot highway caused 2 female teachers to have broken legs.

At around 8am this morning, Tay Hieu Primary School (Thai Hoa town) rented a 16-seat car to take 10 5th grade students and teachers to Vinh city to cheer on a student in the school participating in an English playground.

While the car was running on the Dien Chau - Bai Vot highway, approaching the Dien Chau rest stop, it was hit by a truck traveling from behind.

The accident caused the 16-seat vehicle to overturn; the students panicked and called for help. Upon discovering the incident, local people came to the rescue and took the victims to the hospital.

"The accident caused two female teachers to break their legs and were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. Fortunately, the students suffered minor injuries and were sent home to recover," said Mr. Kieu.

Upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the scene to direct traffic and clarify the accident.
