On the afternoon of February 5, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) Tam Diep branch coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Lu district and Ninh Van commune to inaugurate and hand over a gratitude house to the family of Ms. Le Thi Hong, Tan Duong 2 village, Ninh Van commune (Hoa Lu district).
Ms. Le Thi Hong’s family is a single-parent household. Both mother and daughter have health problems, so the family’s economy is facing many difficulties. In response to Ms. Hong’s situation, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Lu district has mobilized and called on philanthropists and businesses to support the construction of a house of gratitude for the family.
After 3 months of construction, from November 2023 to January 2024, the house was completed with an area of 75m2, with a total cost of 300 million VND. Of which, BIDV Bank, Tam Diep branch supported 100 million VND; the remaining amount was supported by family and relatives, and the villagers joined hands to help with labor and construction materials.
At the inauguration ceremony, leaders of BIDV Bank, Tam Diep branch, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Lu district, Ninh Van commune People's Committee and Tan Duong 2 village presented many gifts, helping Ms. Hong's family reduce difficulties and have more motivation to improve in life.

In particular, the inauguration and handover of the house to Ms. Hong's family right before the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in 2024 is even more meaningful, helping her family celebrate the traditional New Year more joyfully, warmly and affectionately in a new, spacious house. Thereby demonstrating the concern of all levels, sectors, localities and sponsor BIDV Tam Diep branch for households in difficult circumstances.
