On the evening of December 7, the music night “Suddenly Present Pieces of Memories” was held at the Hanoi Opera House. The music night was inspired by the title of the memoir published in 2016 by musician Phu Quang.
The show lasted more than 2 hours. Besides familiar songs, more than half of the songs in the show were less popular songs by Phu Quang introduced to the audience.
Still singing like whispering, telling stories, Tan Minh performed the songs: Hanoi on the return day, Nostalgia for winter, A foolish one me, Sea, nostalgia and you . He captured the hearts of listeners with his soulful, sweet voice, emotions touching the listeners in every note.
Musician Phu Quang discovered Tan Minh's voice in the early 1990s and since then Tan Minh has been attached to his music. In the eyes of his friends and colleagues, he is considered the person that musician Phu Quang "favors" the most.
After 20 years, Ha Tran sings Phu Quang's music again. The diva performs the songs: The Days We Loved Each Other, Autumn and You, The Last Normal Story, Sadness and a duet with Tan Minh on the song Old Clouds .

Returning to Phu Quang's music night, Ha Tran confided: "I was able to sing Uncle Quang's music since my days studying at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music. At that time, I was about 20 years old. The first time I performed for Uncle Quang was also on the stage of the Opera House.
Later, when I went to America, musician Phu Quang also called me. However, I could not arrange the time. Today, being here, I am extremely moved."
In Ha Tran's memory, musician Phu Quang was a strict person. "I observed musician Phu Quang when working with singers. He was often very strict, strict in a somewhat... spiteful way, but what he said was always correct and no one could argue with him," the diva shared.
During the Phu Quang music night, the piano and violin concerto Love of the Sea by his daughter, artist Trinh Huong, and son-in-law Bui Cong Duy was played. The concerto was like a memory for his second mother, musician Phu Quang's wife, artist Hong Nhung.

"This is a very famous song associated with the names of Nhung's mother and Quang's father. This year, my mother also followed my father's footsteps. On this concert night, the song is sung as a tribute to the love my parents have given us and I want to express it again with my own emotions, in a new way," Trinh Huong emotionally shared.
During the music night, singer Siu Black suddenly appeared and received enthusiastic cheers from the audience. The "nightingale" of the Central Highlands " burned up" the stage with the songs: Rock sad, Not by autumn .
No one really thought that Siu Black singing Phu Quang's music would be so pleasing to the ear. Perhaps she has expressed the true spirit: Fierce and passionate hidden deep inside Phu Quang's music and personality.
On stage, Siu Black recounted a memory of a time she performed in Da Nang, where she met musician Phu Quang. At that time, she did not have any suitable songs to sing in the program, and planned to perform Nguyen Cuong's songs.
"Then Quang said, 'There's a song I think you'll sing well.' Musician Phu Quang asked My Linh to teach me the song Dau Phai Bei Mua Thu. Siu remembers the night of the show in Da Nang, Siu sang Phu Quang's music and received a lot of support from the audience. After that, I boldly sang other genres of music, besides music about the Central Highlands," Siu Black shared.
The highlight of the music night "Suddenly Present Pieces of Memories" was Tung Duong's performance. He sang familiar songs such as: Illusion, Mother, Autumn Song, Oh Hanoi Street .
Tung Duong shared that he chose the first song to perform as "Illusion" because the song is associated with the story of the uncle and nephew.
"When he invited me to sing, he said: "I'm very worried! You and Thanh Lam - you two are crazy. If you go on stage like that, it will be like Mr. Nguyen Cuong's or Mr. Pho Duc Phuong's music, not my music.
After thinking for a while, he said, "However, there is a very magical, very crazy song that suits you." When I finished singing this song, musician Phu Quang gave me 9.5 points," Tung Duong confided.
In addition, performances by singers such as Viet Anh, Dao Mac, etc. also brought many emotions to the audience. The music night "Suddenly Present Pieces of Memories" will continue for the second night on December 8 at the Opera House, Hanoi.
