On the 2nd anniversary of musician Phu Quang's passing, his children organized a special annual music night recreating pieces of the talented musician's musical life.
"Suddenly appearing fragments of memories" inspired by the title of the memoir published in 2016 by musician Phu Quang will take place on December 7 and 8, 2023 at the Hanoi Opera House.
Musician Phu Quang's daughter, artist Trinh Huong, and her husband, artist Bui Cong Duy, performed a duet for the first time, the piece "Love of the Sea" written by the musician for his ex-wife.
With the desire to recreate the musical works throughout the composer Phu Quang's career, the image of "pieces of memories" is expressed with an interweaving of sometimes hidden, sometimes visible, sometimes dim, like a book full of memories and emotions.
The audience will be immersed in a journey through time and space, from the first "encounters" of a passionate young artist, through the ups and downs of success, to the chance meetings with the past and present. Each song is associated with a piece of memory like a new page in the meaningful book about the late musician's life.
In addition to original songs by musician Phu Quang, the program will include new arrangements by famous young musicians.
These are musicians with special feelings who have been deeply attached to musician Phu Quang such as Vu Viet Anh (author of The Lazy River), Tran Viet Anh (Black Rose Band), Dinh Cong Phuong Nam... Young musicians will put a new look on familiar songs written by musician Phu Quang.

Tan Minh and Tung Duong, two beautiful singers familiar with previous Phu Quang music nights, will continue to accompany the program this time. However, the appearance of singer Dao Mac, young singer Trung Quan idol and especially the only female singer Ha Tran promises to have impressive performances.
When he was alive, musician Phu Quang always had special feelings for his son-in-law, Meritorious Artist Bui Cong Duy. And his special appearance this time when he collaborated with his wife Trinh Huong in the show on December 7 and Flute artist Le Thu Huong collaborating with Trinh Huong in the show on December 8 will be extremely special.
