The NA Chairman expressed his joy that Vietnamese cultural and historical values ​​are deeply imprinted in Thailand, such as Vietnamese pagodas and three relic sites dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh. The Chairman of the National Assembly thanked the Udon Thani provincial government and sponsors for supporting the project; at the same time, he praised the efforts of overseas Vietnamese; hoped that they would continue to promote the qualities of diligence, hard work, the precious tradition of "loving others as you love yourself", solidarity within the Vietnamese community and between Vietnamese and Thai people. Emphasizing that this is currently the first and only Vietnamese Street in the world, the Chairman of the National Assembly believes that in the coming time, the Vietnamese Street will develop business, cultural and tourism activities; attract tourists and become a source of pride, as well as a vivid symbol of friendship, harmony and solidarity between the people of Udon Thani province and the Thai community of Vietnamese origin here.

Important position in two countries

On the same morning, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue received Governor of Udon Thani province Wanchai Kongkasem. Mr. Wanchai Kongkasem said that in Udon Thani, the Vietnamese community is large in number, has deeply integrated into the local society, has close and close relations with the Thai people and has made many important contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality. In particular, the school's establishment of the Vietnam Studies Center is an important event in terms of politics and culture, continuing to mark the achievements of educational cooperation between the two countries.
